Description

A project, funded by the World Bank through the Ministry of Finance, to provide solar PV systems for the 63 District Administrators Offices countrywide. The hybrid Solar PV Systems provide power for the Computer Kiosk at each of the sites. The computer kiosks were provided by the Ministry of Finance to enable access to the internet and computer resources for the local community. The 4kWp solar panels that produce an average of 24kWh of energy per day are mounted on building rooftops on galvanized PV rails (solar struts). The 3kW Hybrid Sorotec inverter is programmed and wired to the kiosk's Power Distribution Board such that the solar PV Power provides electricity to the building as the primary power source.
